अशृण्वाना: पुराणानां धर्माणां परमा गती: । उत्पथं प्रतिपत्स्यन्ते काममन्युसमीरिता:

Transliteration

aśṛṇvānāḥ purāṇānāṃ dharmāṇāṃ paramā gatīḥ | utpathaṃ pratipatsyante kāma-manyu-samīritāḥ ||

Translation

Indra nói: “Bị dục vọng và sân hận thúc đẩy, con người sẽ quay lưng với giáo huấn cổ xưa, chẳng chịu lắng nghe mục đích tối thượng về dharma mà các Purāṇa truyền dạy. Bị những đam mê ấy khuấy động, họ sẽ bước vào nẻo tà và lạc khỏi quả báo cao thượng của hạnh lành.”
