Kurukṣetra-anudarśanam — Rāma-hradāḥ and the Question of Kṣatra Continuity (शान्ति पर्व, अध्याय ४८)
भूतसंघानुचरितं रक्षोगणनिषेवितम् । पश्यन्तस्ते कुरुक्षेत्र ययुराशु महारथा:
bhūtasaṅghānucaritaṃ rakṣogaṇaniṣevitam | paśyantas te kurukṣetraṃ yayur āśu mahārathāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana thưa: Nhìn Kurukṣetra—nơi bầy đàn u linh lang thang và bọn rākṣasa thường lui tới—những bậc đại xa chiến ấy vẫn mau chóng tiến lên. Cảnh tượng nhấn mạnh rằng cánh đồng của dharma có thể hiện ra ghê rợn và u ám, nhưng kẻ mang bổn phận vẫn tiến bước không hề nao núng.
