विभज्य तं तु विप्रर्षे प्रजानां हितकाम्यया । तोयं सृजति वर्षासु किमाश्नर्यमत: परम्
vibhajya taṃ tu viprarṣe prajānāṃ hitakāmyayā | toyaṃ sṛjati varṣāsu kim āścaryam ataḥ param, brahmarṣe ||
Nāga nói: “Bạch bậc Bà-la-môn thánh hiền, bậc tối thắng trong hàng hiền triết—vì mưu cầu lợi ích cho muôn loài, đấng Mặt Trời cát tường phân chia luồng gió ấy thành nhiều phần và vào mùa mưa, phóng thích nước thành mưa rơi. Còn điều kỳ diệu nào lớn hơn thế?”
