इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत शान्तिपर्वके अन्तर्गत गोक्षधर्मपर्वमें उज्छवृत्तिका उपाख्यानविषयक तीन सौ सत्तावनवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

Transliteration

iti prakāraṁ śrīmahābhārata-śāntiparva-ke antargata-gokṣadharmaparvaṇi ujjhavṛttikā-upākhyāna-viṣayaka trī-śata-saptapañcāśattamaḥ adhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ

Translation

Như vậy kết thúc chương thứ ba trăm năm mươi bảy của Śānti Parva trong bộ Śrī Mahābhārata, thuộc phần được gọi là Gokṣa-dharma Parva, bàn về truyện minh họa (upākhyāna) của Ujjhavṛttikā. Lời kết (colophon) này báo hiệu sự hoàn tất giáo huấn của chương, được đặt như một tấm gương đạo đức trong diễn ngôn rộng lớn về dharma.
