अध्याय ३५१ — उञ्छवृत्ति-व्रतसिद्धेः मानुषस्य परमगतिः
Sūrya–Nāga Dialogue on the Perfected Gleaner-Ascetic
परस्परविनाशार्थ त्वामृते द्विजसत्तम । द्विजश्रेष्ठ उनमेंसे जो लोग तुम्हारी संतानोंके वंशज होंगे, उनमें परस्पर विनाशके लिये फूट हो जायगी। तुम्हारे सहयोगके बिना उनमें विग्रह होगा

Vaiśampāyana nói: “Hỡi bậc tối thượng trong hàng Bà-la-môn, nếu vắng ngươi, giữa những kẻ sẽ là hậu duệ của con cháu ngươi sẽ nảy sinh rạn nứt; và sự chia rẽ ấy sẽ dẫn đến cảnh hủy diệt lẫn nhau. Thiếu sự dìu dắt nâng đỡ của ngươi, họ sẽ rơi vào xung đột.”
