Āścarya-kathana: Brāhmaṇa–Nāga Dialogue on Sūrya (Vivasvat) and the ‘Second Sun’ Phenomenon

Having heard the Sātvata dharma, the listener is urged to embody it—not merely to know it—by practicing it in a way that accords with nyāya (justice and propriety), and only to the extent of one’s real capacity.
Vaiśampāyana concludes a section of instruction by telling a Kuru prince (addressed as Kurunandana and Bhārata) that the teaching on Sātvata dharma has been delivered and should now be put into practice rightly.
