एकान्तिनां च का चर्या कदा चोत्पादिता विभो | एतन्मे संशयं छिन्धि परं॑ कौतूहलं हि मे

Transliteration

ekāntināṃ ca kā caryā kadā cotpāditā vibho | etan me saṃśayaṃ chindhi paraṃ kautūhalaṃ hi me, bhagavan |

Translation

Vua Janamejaya thưa: “Bậc đại hùng, nếp sống tu trì của những người nhất tâm sùng kính (ekāntin) là thế nào? Và con đường ấy phát sinh, được thiết lập từ thời nào? Xin chém đứt mối nghi của con, vì lòng hiếu kỳ của con về điều này thật sâu xa, bạch Đấng Tôn Quý.”
