Prāyaścitta and Contextual Non-Culpability (प्रायश्चित्त-निमित्त-अदोषवाद)

भक्ष्याभक्ष्येषु चान्येषु वाच्यावाच्ये तथैव च । अज्ञानज्ञानयो राजन् विहितान्यनुजानतः
Transliteration
bhakṣyābhakṣyeṣu cānyeṣu vācyāvācye tathaiva ca | ajñānajñānayo rājan vihitāny anujānataḥ ||
Translation
Vyāsa nói: “Tâu Đại vương, các nghi thức sám hối này được quy định cho những lỗi lầm liên quan đến điều được ăn hay không được ăn, điều được nói hay không được nói; cũng vậy, cho các tội phạm do cố ý hay vô ý. Người sáng suốt phải thực hành với sự hiểu biết rõ ràng và theo phép tắc, có sự chuẩn thuận đúng luật.”
