Puruṣaikatva-vyākhyāna: The One Virāṭ Puruṣa and the Many ‘Puruṣas’
Rudra–Brahmā Saṃvāda
The verse highlights how a powerful, divinely connected agent acts decisively and without hesitation; in ethical terms, it suggests that when a higher purpose is at work, action can be swift and unstoppable, overriding ordinary resistance.
Garuḍa, identified as Vinatā’s son, suddenly lifts a person up, flies quickly into the sky, and then releases him there—an abrupt, forceful transition that marks Garuḍa’s dominance and the rapid execution of the event.
