Adhyāya 33 — Yudhiṣṭhira’s Post-Conflict Remorse and Inquiry on Āśrama Discipline (शोक-विमर्शः, आश्रम-जिज्ञासा)
अस्मानन्तकरान् घोरान् पाण्डवान् वृष्णिसंहतान् । आक्रोशन्त्य: कृशा दीना: प्रपतिष्यन्ति भूतले,हम घोर विनाशकारी पाण्डवों और वृष्णिवंशियोंको कोसती हुई वे दीन-दुर्बल अबलाएँ पृथ्वीपर पछाड़ खा-खाकर गिरेंगी
asmān antakarān ghorān pāṇḍavān vṛṣṇisaṃhatān | ākrośantyaḥ kṛśā dīnāḥ prapatiṣyanti bhūtale ||
Yudhiṣṭhira nói: “Vừa nguyền rủa chúng ta—những Pāṇḍava đáng sợ, gieo chết chóc—cùng với dòng Vṛṣṇi, những người đàn bà ấy, gầy guộc và khốn khổ, sẽ ngã quỵ hết lần này đến lần khác trên mặt đất.”
