क्षितिं वा देवलोकं वा गम्यतां यदि रोचते । अप्रमादश्न वः कार्यो ब्रह्म हि प्रचुरच्छलम्
kṣitiṃ vā devalokaṃ vā gamyatāṃ yadi rocate | apramādaś ca vaḥ kāryo brahma hi pracuracchalam ||
Bhīṣma nói: «Nếu các con thấy thuận, hãy đi—dù xuống cõi đất hay lên cõi chư thiên. Nhưng chớ buông lơi tỉnh giác; bởi Veda (brahman) có nhiều mưu lược vi tế: thường lấy những quả báo hấp dẫn làm cớ mà giảng dharma, nên kẻ thiếu cẩn trọng dễ bị lạc hướng.»
