न भ्राजते यथापूर्व निषादानामिवालय: । देवर्षिगणजुष्टो5पि वेदध्वनिनिराकृत:

Transliteration

na bhrājate yathāpūrva niṣādānām ivālayaḥ | devarṣigaṇajuṣṭo 'pi vedadhvaninirākṛtaḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Nơi này không còn rực rỡ như trước; trông như chốn ở của người Niṣāda. Dẫu có đoàn thiên tiên hiền thánh thường lui tới, nó vẫn như thiếu mất vẻ huy hoàng, bởi tiếng tụng Veda đã vắng.”
