Transliteration

anena vidhinā kārṣṇis tad ahaḥ śeṣam acyutaḥ | tāṃ ca rātriṃ nṛpakule vartayāmāsa bhārata bharatanandana ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Theo cách ấy, hỡi hậu duệ Bharata, Śuka—người không hề rời khỏi khuôn phép—đã ở lại trong hoàng cung, trải qua phần còn lại của ngày hôm đó và trọn vẹn cả đêm.”
