Adhyāya 325: Nārada in Śvetadvīpa—Stotra to the Nirguṇa Mahātman

छायायामातपे चैव समदर्शी महाद्युति: । तात! वहाँ एक जगह बैठकर महातेजस्वी शुकदेवजी मोक्षका ही चिन्तन करने लगे। धूप हो या छाया, दोनोंमें उनकी समान दृष्टि थी

chāyāyām ātape caiva samadarśī mahādyutiḥ | tāta! tatraika-sthāne upaviśya mahā-tejasvī śukadevaḥ mokṣasyaiva cintanaṃ kartum ārabdhavān | dhūpo vā chāyā vā—ubhayatra tasya samā dṛṣṭiḥ āsīt |

Bhīṣma nói: “Dù ở bóng râm hay dưới nắng, vị hiền triết rực sáng ấy vẫn giữ cái nhìn bình đẳng. Này con yêu, ngồi yên một chỗ, Śukadeva đại quang minh chỉ chuyên tâm quán niệm về mokṣa—sự giải thoát. Dẫu là nóng bức hay bóng mát dịu, ngài đều nhìn cả hai với một thị kiến vô tư như nhau.”
