Śvetadvīpa-varṇana and Śāstra-pravartana (Śānti Parva 322)
स्वकर्मफलनिक्षेपं विधानपरिरक्षितम् । भूतग्राममिमं काल: समन्तादपकर्षति
svakarmaphalanikṣepaṁ vidhānaparirakṣitam | bhūtagrāmam imaṁ kālaḥ samantād apakarṣati ||
Bhishma nói: “Kho ký thác của quả báo do chính nghiệp mình tạo ra được gìn giữ dưới sự hộ trì của pháp chế kinh điển. Khi thời khắc thích hợp đến, Thời Gian kéo cả muôn loài từ bốn phía, cuốn mỗi kẻ đi theo đà lực của nghiệp mình.”
