शुकस्य योगसिद्धिः (Śuka’s Yogic Attainment and Ascent)
एवमुक्त: स वैदेहं प्रत्युवाचापरोक्षवित् । निवृत्तिर्न तयोरस्ति नानिवृत्ति: कथठ्चन
evam uktaḥ sa vaidehaṁ pratyuvāca aparokṣavit | nivṛttir na tayor asti nānivṛttiḥ kathaṁcana ||
Được hỏi như vậy, vị hiền triết—bậc có tri kiến trực chứng—đáp lời vua Videha: “Không có sự đoạn diệt tuyệt đối của hai điều ấy: già và chết; nhưng cũng không thể nói rằng sự đoạn diệt của chúng là bất khả trong mọi cách. Không phải nhờ của cải hay quyền thế thế gian mà vượt thắng được; song nhờ trí tuệ, vòng luân hồi tái sinh có thể chấm dứt—vậy thì còn phải nói gì đến già và chết nữa?”
