भीष्म उवाच स एवमनुशास्तस्तु याज्ञवल्क्येन धीमता । प्रीतिमानभवद् राजा मिथिलाधिपतिस्तदा
bhīṣma uvāca | sa evam anuśāstastu yājñavalkyena dhīmatā | prītimān abhavad rājā mithilādhipatis tadā |
Bhīṣma nói: Được bậc hiền triết Yājñavalkya chỉ dạy như thế, vua Janaka—chúa tể xứ Mithilā—khi ấy vô cùng hoan hỷ.
भीष्म उवाच
A ruler grounded in dharma should welcome wise instruction; genuine counsel produces clarity and contentment, showing humility and readiness to govern ethically.
Bhishma, speaking to Yudhishthira, reports that after Yājñavalkya instructed him, King Janaka of Mithilā felt deep satisfaction—signaling his acceptance of the teaching.
