नारद–शुक संवादः

Impermanence, Svabhāva, and Śuka’s Resolve for Yoga

ब्रह्मलोकमें गये हुए महर्षि भी आपकी महिमाका वर्णन करते हैं। तपनेवाले तेजस्वी ग्रहोंके पति अदितिनन्दन सनातन भगवान्‌ सूर्यने आपको वेदका उपदेश किया है ।।

brahmalokeṁ gateṣu mahārṣiṣu ’pi bhavato mahimānaṁ varṇayanti | tapanevale tejasvino grahāṇāṁ patiḥ aditinandanaḥ sanātano bhagavān sūryas tvāṁ vedam upadiṣṭavān || sāṅkhyajñānaṁ tvayā brahman avāptaṁ kṛtsnam eva ca | tathaiva yogaśāstraṁ ca yājñavalkya viśeṣataḥ ||

Ngay cả các đại hiền triết đã đến Brahmaloka cũng ca ngợi uy đức của ngài. Đức Sūrya vĩnh cửu—con của Aditi, bậc khổ hạnh rực sáng và chúa tể các tinh tú—đã truyền dạy cho ngài Veda. Và ngài, hỡi Bà-la-môn, hỡi Yājñavalkya, cũng đã đạt trọn vẹn tri kiến về Sāṅkhya, và cũng vậy, về Yoga-śāstra, theo một cách đặc biệt và xuất chúng.
