यत: सर्वा: प्रवर्तन्ते सर्गप्रलयविक्रिया: । यच्च शंसन्ति शास्त्रेषु वदन्ति परमर्षय:,संसारकी सृष्टि और प्रलयरूप सारे विकार उसीसे सम्भव होते हैं। महर्षि अपने शास्त्रोंमें उसीकी प्रशंसा करते हैं
yataḥ sarvāḥ pravartante sarga-pralaya-vikriyāḥ | yac ca śaṃsanti śāstreṣu vadanti paramarṣayaḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: Từ Ngài phát sinh mọi biến dịch mang hình tướng của tạo thành và hoại diệt. Chính Ngài là Đấng được kinh điển tán dương, và được các bậc đại thánh hiền tuyên xưng—để chỉ cho người nghe nguồn tối thượng đứng sau vòng biến chuyển của saṃsāra.
