Adhyāya 290: Sāṃkhya-vidhi, Deha-doṣa, Guṇa-vicāra, and Mokṣa-gati
Bhīṣma–Yudhiṣṭhira Dialogue
सुखदु:खे समाधाय पुमानन्येन गच्छति । अन्येनैव जन: सर्व: संगतो यश्न पार्थिव:
sukha-duḥkhe samādhāya pumān anyena gacchati | anyenaiva janaḥ sarvaḥ saṅgato yac ca pārthivaḥ ||
Khi đã gom cả lạc lẫn khổ và dung nhiếp chúng vào nội tâm, người có trí đi theo một con đường khác—con đường hướng đến giải thoát. Còn mọi kẻ bị trói buộc bởi ái luyến, cùng với những gì thuộc về họ trong cõi đời (tâu Đại vương)—vợ, con và của cải—đều đi theo một lối khác; vì thế họ cứ mãi luân hồi sinh tử.
