Transliteration

hiraṇyakavacāḥ sarve sarve cottamadhanvinaḥ |

Translation

Vāyu nói: “Tất cả họ đều mặc giáp vàng, và ai nấy đều là cung thủ thượng hạng.” Câu kệ nêu bật sự phú quý vương giả và sự sẵn sàng chinh chiến—những dấu hiệu quyền lực bên ngoài—nhưng trong khung đạo lý của Śānti Parva, đó là lời nhắc rằng của cải và tài võ phải được điều ngự bởi dharma, chứ không bởi kiêu mạn hay phóng túng.
