Chapter 29
शशबिन्दुं चैत्ररथं मृतं शुश्रुम संजय । यस्य भार्यासहसत्राणां शतमासीन्महात्मन:
śaśabinduṁ caitrarathaṁ mṛtaṁ śuśruma sañjaya | yasya bhāryāsahasrāṇāṁ śatam āsīn mahātmanaḥ ||
Vāyu nói: “Hỡi Sañjaya, chúng ta nghe rằng Śaśabindu và Caitraratha đã chết—những bậc đại hồn mà người ta nói có đến một trăm nghìn người vợ. Ngay cả những vị vua lừng danh và quyền thế, được bao quanh bởi phú quý trần gian mênh mông, cũng không thoát khỏi cái chết; vì thế chớ bám víu vào kiêu mạn hay sở hữu, mà hãy suy niệm về lẽ vô thường chi phối mọi đời sống hữu thân.”
