Adhyāya 284: Tapas as a Corrective to Household Attachment
Parāśara’s Instruction
जरायुजाण्डजाश्रैव स्वेदजाश्व तथोद्धिजा: । त्वमेव देवदेवेश भूतग्रामश्चतुर्विध:
jarāyujāṇḍajāś caiva svedajāś ca tathodbhijāḥ | tvam eva devadeveśa bhūtagrāmaś caturvidhaḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Hỡi Chúa tể của các chư thiên, toàn thể chúng sinh bốn loại—sinh từ bào thai, sinh từ trứng, sinh từ mồ hôi hay ẩm thấp, và loài mọc lên từ đất—thật ra đều chính là Ngài.”
