भीष्म उवाच एवमुकत्वा तु सा देवी तदा पशुपतिं पतिम् । तृष्णी भूताभवद् राजन् दहाुमानेन चेतसा
bhīṣma uvāca evam uktvā tu sā devī tadā paśupatiṁ patim | tṛṣṇī-bhūtābhavad rājan dahyamānena cetasā ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Tâu Đại vương, nói như vậy với phu quân mình là Paśupati, nữ thần (Pārvatī) liền lặng thinh. Nhưng trong lòng nàng, nỗi bi sầu vẫn thiêu đốt.”
