सृजत्येष महाबाहो भूतग्रामं चराचरम्‌ | एष चाक्षिपते काले काले विसृजते पुन:

Transliteration

sṛjaty eṣa mahābāho bhūtagrāmaṃ carācaram | eṣa cākṣipate kāle kāle visṛjate punaḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Hỡi bậc dũng lực, chính Ngài sinh thành toàn thể quần sinh—cả hữu động lẫn vô động. Rồi đến đúng thời, Ngài thu nhiếp lại; đến đúng thời, Ngài lại phóng xuất ra lần nữa.”
