श्रेयो-धर्मकर्मविचारः

Inquiry into Śreyas, Dharma, and Karma

वृत्र बवाच एवं गते मे न विषादो<स्ति कश्चित्‌ सम्यक्‌ च पश्यामि वचस्तथैतत्‌ | श्रुत्वा तु ते वाचमदीनसत्त्व विकल्मषोअस्म्यद्य तथा विपाप्मा

Vṛtra uvāca—evaṁ gate me na viṣādo 'sti kaścit, samyak ca paśyāmi vacas tathaitat | śrutvā tu te vācam adīna-sattva, vikalmaṣo 'smy adya tathā vipāpmā ||

Vṛtra nói: “Nếu sự việc đúng là như vậy, thì trong ta chẳng còn nỗi sầu nào nữa. Ta thấy lời của ngài thật rõ ràng và nhận đó là chân thật. Hỡi bậc tâm hồn cao quý, hôm nay nghe lời ngài, ta cảm thấy được gột rửa—mọi vết nhơ đã rơi rụng, và ta được giải thoát khỏi tội lỗi.”
