परिव्राजक-आचारः (Conduct of the Wandering Renunciant) — Mahābhārata, Śānti-parva 269

कृतशुद्धशरीरो हि पात्र भवति ब्राह्मण: । आनन्त्यमत्र बुद्धयेदं कर्मणां तद्‌ ब्रवीमि ते

kṛtaśuddhaśarīro hi pātra bhavati brāhmaṇaḥ | ānantyam atra buddhyedaṃ karmaṇāṃ tad bravīmi te

Kapila nói: “Quả thật, một brāhmaṇa đã thanh tịnh thân mình bằng kỷ luật và hạnh kiểm nghiêm cẩn sẽ trở thành một khí cụ xứng đáng (người thọ nhận). Trong việc này, phải hiểu tầm vô hạn của nghiệp và quả của nghiệp; vì thế ta tuyên thuyết điều này cho ngươi.”
