परिव्राजक-आचारः (Conduct of the Wandering Renunciant) — Mahābhārata, Śānti-parva 269
यद्यागच्छन्ति संसारं पु$नर्योनिषु तादृशा: । न लिप्यन्ते पापकृत्यै:ः कदाचित् कर्मयोनित:
yady āgacchanti saṃsāraṃ punar yoniṣu tādṛśāḥ | na lipyante pāpakṛtyaiḥ kadācit karmayonitaḥ ||
Dẫu những bậc tâm hồn thanh tịnh như thế có trở lại cõi thế và thọ sinh trong những thai tạng nơi nghiệp và bổn phận vẫn vận hành, họ cũng không bao giờ bị vấy bẩn bởi tội lỗi chỉ vì mang thân ấy. Sự trong sạch và trí tri bên trong khiến họ không dính mắc, nên lỗi lầm của trường nghiệp không bám vào họ.
