तृष्णाक्षय-उपदेशः

Instruction on the Cessation of Craving

नान्तरेणानुजानन्ति दानयज्ञक्रियाफलम्‌ | अविज्ञाय च तत्‌ सर्वमन्यद्‌ रोचयते फलम्‌

nāntareṇānujānanti dānayajñakriyāphalam | avijñāya ca tat sarvam anyad rocayate phalam

Ca-tỳ-la nói: Không có sự hiểu biết nội tâm, người ta không thật sự nhận ra quả báo của bố thí, tế tự và các hành vi nghi lễ. Khi chưa thấu triệt toàn bộ chân lý ấy, họ lại ưa chuộng một “kết quả” khác, lầm những lợi lộc nhỏ nhoi bên ngoài là thành tựu chân thật.
