मोक्षोपाय-निर्णयः
Determination of the Means to Liberation
पादोनेनापि धर्मेण गच्छेत् त्रेतायुगे तथा । द्वापरे तु द्विपादेन पादेन त्वधरे युगे
pādonenāpi dharmeṇa gacchet tretāyuge tathā | dvāpare tu dvipādena pādena tvadhare yuge ||
Humatsena nói: “Dù dharma suy giảm một phần tư, người ta vẫn có thể bước đi trong thời Tretā. Đến thời Dvāpara, dharma chỉ còn đứng trên hai phần; còn ở thời sau rốt (Kali), nó chỉ đứng trên một phần. Lời dạy này cho thấy năng lực đạo đức của thế gian suy tàn qua các yuga; vì vậy, nỗ lực hướng thiện phải được hiểu trong bối cảnh mỗi thời đại có nền tảng chính nghĩa kém vững hơn.”
