अहिंसा-प्रधान धर्मविचारः

Ahiṃsā as the Superior Dharma: Practical and Scriptural Reasoning

एवमुक्ता महाबाहो मृत्यु: परपुरंजय । न व्याजहार तस्थौ च प्रह्मा भगवदुन्मुखी

evam uktā mahābāho mṛtyuḥ parapuraṃjaya | na vyājahāra tasthau ca brahmā bhagavad-unmukhī ||

Bhīṣma nói: “Được bảo như thế, hỡi bậc dũng mãnh, hỡi người chinh phục thành lũy của địch, Tử Thần không thốt nên lời. Quay mặt về phía Brahmā, nàng đứng chắp tay, lặng lẽ tiếp nhận mệnh lệnh của Ngài.”
