Ātma-saṃyama-dharma: One-pointedness of Mind and Senses (शुक–व्यास संवादः)
अभिवाद्य गुरु ब्रूयादधीष्व भगवन्निति । इदं करिष्ये भगवन्निदं चापि कृतं मया
abhivādya guruṁ brūyād adhīṣva bhagavann iti | idaṁ kariṣye bhagavann idaṁ cāpi kṛtaṁ mayā ||
Sau khi kính lễ thầy, người học trò chắp tay thưa: “Bạch đấng tôn kính, xin hãy dạy con.” Lại phải báo cáo với lòng ngay thẳng và kỷ luật: “Việc này nay con sẽ làm; việc kia con đã hoàn tất.” Bài kệ đặt việc học trên nền tảng của kính trọng, trách nhiệm, và sự sẵn sàng gánh vác bổn phận.
