Ātma-saṃyama-dharma: One-pointedness of Mind and Senses (शुक–व्यास संवादः)
जघन्यशायी पूर्व स्यादुत्थाय गुरुवेश्मनि । यच्च शिष्येण कर्तव्यं कार्य दासेन वा पुन:
jaghanyaśāyī pūrvaṃ syād utthāya guruveśmani | yac ca śiṣyeṇa kartavyaṃ kāryaṃ dāsena vā punaḥ ||
Vyāsa nói: Người học trò nên nằm ở chỗ khiêm hạ nhất và phải thức dậy trước thầy, ngay trong nhà của thầy. Bất cứ việc gì trong đó là phận sự của học trò—hay cũng là việc của người hầu—thì chính mình phải tự tay làm cho trọn vẹn.
