Gṛhastha-vṛtti and Niyama: Models of Householder Livelihood and Discipline (गृहस्थवृत्ति-नियमाः)
स्वधर्मेण क्रिया लोके कुर्वाण: सत्यसंगर: । तिषछ्ठते तेषु गृहवान् षट्सु कर्मसु स द्विज:
vyāsa uvāca | svadharmeṇa kriyā loke kurvāṇaḥ satyasaṅgaraḥ | tiṣṭhate teṣu gṛhavān ṣaṭsu karmasu sa dvijaḥ ||
Vyāsa nói: Làm các việc ở đời phù hợp với svadharma của mình và kiên định trong lời thệ nguyện chân thật, người hai lần sinh, khi đã là gia chủ, phải an trú vững vàng chỉ trong sáu bổn phận đã được quy định ấy.
