आकाशे ददृशे ज्योतिरुद्यतार्चि:समप्रभम् । तयो: समीप त॑ प्राप्तं॑ प्रत्यदुश्यत भारत
ākāśe dadṛśe jyotir udyatārciḥ-samaprabham | tayoḥ samīpaṃ tat prāptaṃ pratyadṛśyata bhārata ||
Bhīṣma nói: Trên bầu trời hiện ra một luồng sáng rực rỡ, bừng cháy với vẻ huy hoàng như ngọn lửa đang vươn lên. Hỡi Bhārata, người ta thấy nó tiến lại gần hai người, như thể một mặt trời thứ hai đã đến sát bên mặt trời vừa mới mọc—một vinh quang thần linh khiến lòng kinh ngạc, từng bước một áp lại gần họ.
