ब्राह्मणस्य पूर्वतरा वृत्तिः — The Earlier Ideal Conduct of a Brahmana
River-of-Saṃsāra Metaphor
कस्येह न व्यथेद् बुद्धिर्मुत्योरपि जिघांसत: । साते न व्यथते बुद्धिरचला तत्त्वदर्शिनी
kasyeha na vyathed buddhir mṛtyor api jighāṃsataḥ | sā te na vyathate buddhir acalā tattvadarśinī ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Ở đây, ai mà tâm trí chẳng rúng động—dù chỉ trước Tử thần khi nó đến với ý định giết chóc? Thế nhưng trí hiểu biết của ngươi không run sợ: nó vững bền, đặt nền trên cái thấy chân lý. Vì vậy ngươi vẫn an nhiên, không hề xao động.”
