समरेषु च विक्रान्तं पर्याप्त॑ तन्निदर्शनम्‌ । पहले मैं जो पुरुषार्थ प्रकट कर चुका हूँ

Transliteration

samareṣu ca vikrāntaṃ paryāptaṃ tan-nidarśanam |

Translation

Bhishma nói: “Còn về dũng lực của ta nơi chiến trận, chỉ một thí dụ cũng đủ làm chứng. Ngươi là kẻ hiểu rõ nhất nỗ lực và ý chí nam nhi mà ta đã từng bộc lộ; hết lần này đến lần khác, trong bao cuộc chiến, ngươi đã chứng kiến lòng dũng cảm của ta. Vậy nên lúc này, một minh chứng là đủ.”
