कालनिर्णयः, युगधर्मवर्णनम्, सृष्टिक्रमश्च

शचीपति इन्द्र! जैसे तुम हो, वैसे ही बल और पराक्रमसे सम्पन्न अनेक सहस्र इन्द्र समाप्त हो चुके हैं ।।

Transliteration

tvām apy atibalaṃ śakra devarājaṃ balotkaṭam | prāpta-kāle mahāvīryaḥ kālaḥ saṃśamayīṣyati ||

Translation

Người ta bảo với Indra, chúa tể của Śacī: “Như ngươi, đã có hàng ngàn Indra đầy sức mạnh và dũng lực đi đến tận cùng. Hỡi Śakra, ngươi tự cho mình cực kỳ hùng mạnh, là vua chư thiên, dữ dội trong sức lực; nhưng khi thời khắc định mệnh đến, Thời Gian—đại hùng lực—cũng sẽ khiến ngươi lặng yên.”
