कालनिर्णयः, युगधर्मवर्णनम्, सृष्टिक्रमश्च
Time-Reckoning, Yuga-Dharma, and the Sequence of Creation
पृथिवी ज्योतिराकाशमापो वायुश्च॒ पठचम: । एतद्योनीनि भूतानि तत्र का परिदेवना
śakra uvāca | pṛthivī jyotir ākāśam āpo vāyuś ca pañcamaḥ | etad-yonīni bhūtāni tatra kā paridevanā ||
Śakra nói: “Đất, lửa (ánh sáng), hư không, nước, và gió là yếu tố thứ năm—đó là những ‘tử cung’ (nguồn vật chất) từ đó các hữu tình có thân xác sinh ra. Khi mọi loài đều do các đại ấy cấu thành rồi lại trở về với chúng, cớ gì phải than khóc và ai oán?”
