आत्मनि श्रेयसि ज्ञाने धीरं निश्चितनिश्चयम्‌ । परावरज्ञं भूतानां सर्वज्ञं समदर्शनम्‌

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca |

ātmani śreyasi jñāne dhīraṃ niścita-niścayam |

parāvara-jñaṃ bhūtānāṃ sarvajñaṃ sama-darśanam ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: “Ông kiên định, quyết tâm đã định, an trú trong tri kiến về Tự Ngã—điều thiện tối thượng. Ông biết thực tại cao và thấp, hiểu nguồn gốc và chỗ tận cùng của muôn loài, về nguyên lý là bậc toàn tri, và nhìn tất cả bằng cái thấy bình đẳng.”
