ततः पश्यन्त्यसम्बुद्धया वातपित्तकफोत्तरान्‌ | रजस्तमोगतैभविस्तदप्याहुर्दुरत्ययम्‌

Transliteration

tataḥ paśyanty asambuddhayā vātapittakaphottarān | rajastamogatāir bhāvais tad apy āhur duratyayam ||

Translation

Bhishma nói: Sau đó, vì thiếu sự tỉnh giác chân thật, con người trong mộng thấy vô số hình thân khác nhau, bị khí (vāta), mật (pitta) hay đàm (kapha) chi phối, lại bị các trạng thái sinh từ rajas và tamas như dục vọng và mê lầm bao trùm. Bậc trí dạy rằng: nếu không có tri kiến về thực tại, vượt qua cảnh tượng mộng huyễn ấy là điều vô cùng khó khăn.
