Vimokṣa-niścaya: Pañcaśikha’s Analysis of Aggregates, Guṇas, and Tyāga (मोक्षनिर्णयः)

अथवा मन्त्रवद्ब्रूयुरात्मादानाय दुष्कृतम्‌ । स वै हेतुरनादाने शुद्धरर्मानुपालने

athavā mantravad brūyur ātmādānāya duṣkṛtam | sa vai hetur anādāne śuddha-dharmānupālane

Hoặc người ta có thể tuyên bố một cách trang nghiêm, như đang tụng một thần chú, rằng: một việc ác phải được “nhận lấy về mình” (thú nhận và gánh chịu). Chính sự nhận lấy ấy trở thành nguyên nhân khiến người ta không tái phạm và khiến người ta gìn giữ chính pháp thanh tịnh một cách trung tín.
