Adhyāya 199: Karma–Jñāna Causality and the Nirguṇa Brahman
Manu’s Instruction
राजोवाच प्रस्तुतं सुमहत् कार्यमनयोर्गह्वरं यथा । जापकस्य दृढीकार: कथमेतद् भविष्यति
rājovāca prasṛtaṃ sumahat kāryam anayor gahvaraṃ yathā | jāpakasya dṛḍhīkāraḥ katham etad bhaviṣyati ||
Nhà vua nói: “Một việc hệ trọng vô cùng và sâu thẳm rối ren nay đã hiện ra trước mặt hai người này, như một vực thẳm. Và sự khăng khăng kiên quyết của vị Bà-la-môn khổ hạnh ‘jāpaka’ vẫn y nguyên như cũ. Vậy thì việc này sẽ được phân xử thế nào?”
