Jñāna-yoga and Karma-phala: Manu–Bṛhaspati on Akṣara and the Limits of Mantra
ह्ृदयं पापवृत्तानां पापमाख्याति वैकृतम् । ज्ञानपूर्व विनश्यन्ति गूहमाना महाजने
hṛdayaṃ pāpavṛttānāṃ pāpam ākhyāti vaikṛtam | jñānapūrvaṃ vinaśyanti gūhamānā mahājane ||
Bhīṣma nói: Chính trái tim của kẻ sống theo tội lỗi—cùng những biến dạng lộ ra nơi thân trạng—tố cáo điều sai trái của họ. Ai cố ý phạm tội rồi lại tìm cách che giấu trước bậc đại nhân và người hiền thiện, kẻ ấy sẽ diệt vong.
