Jāpakānāṃ Gatiḥ — The Destinies of Japa-Practitioners (Śānti Parva 12.190)

अविस्रम्भे न गन्तव्यं विस्रम्भे धारयेन्मन: । मन: प्राणे निगृह्नलीयात्‌ प्राणं ब्रह्मणि धारयेत्‌

aviśrambhe na gantavyaṃ viśrambhe dhārayen manaḥ | manaḥ prāṇe nigṛhṇīyāt prāṇaṃ brahmaṇi dhārayet |

Bharadvāja nói: Chớ bước theo con đường nơi không có lòng tin; nơi nào lòng tin đặt đúng chỗ, ở đó hãy làm cho tâm vững. Hãy chế ngự tâm, thu nhiếp tâm vào hơi thở sinh lực (prāṇa), rồi an trụ prāṇa trong Brahman. Như vậy, sự phân định đạo lý trong giao tiếp giữa người với người rốt cuộc quy về kỷ luật nội tâm và sự hòa nhập thiêng liêng.
