Varṇa-lakṣaṇa and Ātma-saṃyama (Marks of Social Conduct and Self-Restraint) | वर्णलक्षणम् एवं आत्मसंयमः
स्वकर्मफलनिभक्षेपं विधानपरिरक्षितम् । भूतग्राममिमं काल: समनन््तात् परिकर्षति
svakarmaphalanibhakṣepaṁ vidhānaparirakṣitam | bhūtagrāmam imaṁ kālaḥ samanantāt parikarṣati ||
Bhishma nói: “Kết quả của chính hành vi mình giống như một khoản ký thác được cất giữ, được bảo toàn dưới sự chi phối của trật tự vũ trụ. Khi thời cơ thích hợp đến, Thời gian kéo trái quả đã tích chứa ấy đến với toàn thể chúng sinh—để mỗi loài phải đối diện với điều mình đã tạo.”
