इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत शान्तिपर्वके अन्तर्गत आपद्धर्मपर्वमें कृतघ्नका उपाख्यानविषयक एक सौ बहत्तरवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ

Transliteration

iti prakāraḥ śrī-mahābhārate śānti-parvaṇi antargate āpaddharma-parvaṇi kṛtaghnopākhyāna-viṣayaka eka-śata-dvā-saptatitamaḥ adhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ

Translation

Như vậy, trong bộ Mahābhārata thiêng liêng, thuộc Śānti Parva, trong phần Āpaddharma Parva, chương thứ một trăm bảy mươi hai—kể chuyện ngụ ngôn về kẻ vô ân—đã kết thúc. Lời kết chương này báo hiệu sự hoàn tất của một đoạn giáo huấn nhằm soi sáng đạo lý: đặc biệt lên án sự bội bạc và khẳng định dharma ngay cả trong lúc khốn nguy.
