Ajagara-vrata (The ‘Python’ Discipline): Prahrāda Questions a Wandering Sage

इमं हत्वा गृहीत्वा च यास्ये5हं समभिद्रुतम्‌

imaṁ hatvā gṛhītvā ca yāsye ’haṁ samabhidrutam

Bhīṣma nói: “Giết kẻ này rồi đoạt lấy, ta sẽ lập tức lên đường, thật mau.” Vì bị nỗi lo âu—“Giờ ta phải làm sao để giữ mạng?”—lấn át, kẻ vô ơn ấy, thấy dọc đường không có thức ăn, liền thầm nghĩ: “Vua loài diệc, Rājadharmā, đang ở ngay bên ta. Hắn là một đống thịt lớn. Ta sẽ giết hắn, mang đi, và nhanh chóng rời khỏi nơi này.”
