ततः प्रदुद्रुवु: सर्वे विप्रसंघा: समनन्‍्ततः । गौतमो<पि सुवर्णस्य भारमादाय सत्वर:

Transliteration

tataḥ pradudruvuḥ sarve viprasaṅghāḥ samanantataḥ | gautamo ’pi suvarṇasya bhāram ādāya satvaraḥ ||

Translation

Bhīṣma nói: Bấy giờ mọi đoàn Bà-la-môn đều chạy tán loạn về mọi phía. Gautama cũng vội vã nhấc lấy gánh vàng nặng trĩu, hấp tấp bước đi; bị sức nặng đè ép và thân thể căng kiệt, ông hướng về cây đa. Đến nơi, ông ngồi phịch xuống vì kiệt sức—bị cơn đói hành hạ và mệt lả rã rời.
