On the Faults of Discontent and the Discipline of Detachment

ते जनास्तां गति यान्ति नाविद्वांसो5ल्पचेतस: । नाबुद्धयो नातपस: सर्व बुद्धौ प्रतेष्ठितम्,बुद्धिमान् और तपस्वी ही उस गतिको प्राप्त होते हैं। जो अज्ञानी, मन्दबुद्धि, शुद्धबुद्धिसे रहित और तपस्यासे शून्य हैं--वे नहीं। क्योंकि सब कुछ बुद्धिमें ही प्रतिष्ठित है
Translation
Những kẻ ấy không thể đạt đến cảnh giới ấy bằng người vô tri, tâm trí nhỏ hẹp; cũng không phải bằng kẻ thiếu trí, thiếu khổ hạnh. Vì mọi sự đều nương tựa nơi trí tuệ. Bởi vậy, chỉ người có trí và người tu khổ hạnh mới đạt được cảnh giới ấy; còn kẻ ngu si, đần độn, không có trí thanh tịnh và trống rỗng khổ hạnh—thì không thể.
